PANIHATI CHHATRASHAKTI: A non-profit social development organisation is working for Child Education, Child’s Right to Protection and Youth Development.

We have started in 1993 with a book bank called “Nivedita Book Bank” at Sodepur which is providing books for students of lower income group in our society. Now we are helping students for their study materials regular basis. Because of few students have started this organisation so we have decided the name “Chhatrashakti” means (student’s power) and we have started work in Panihati Municipal area.

From 2001 we are already  Registered (Under The West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 and Registration No. S/1L/2767 [2000-2001]) organisation and we are working for Child Rights and Protection program in the name of CCRP (Coalition for the Child’s Right to Protection) with the Partner organisation “New Alipore Praajak Development Society” and that is associated and funded by Child Right and You, India (CRY).

We have organised 12th January “National Youth Day” and participated different types of programs like YUVA AAROHAN (State Youth Events on the National Youth Policy) with the Praajak, Collection for Natural Calamities and helping the effected people with the Bastuhara Sahayata Samiti and organised Blood Donation Camps, Career Guidance Camps, Environment Awareness programs like plantation of trees etc.

National Integration Day for Youth: To develop the sense of National Integration among in youth has become the most important need of the country, as the youth have been misled by sectarian forces, fundamentalists & they have been misguided to involve in antisocial, anti-national activists and angering the unity & integrity of country. So many Youth camps have organized by Panihati Chhatrashakti  on National Youth Day.

The urban and rural youth were invited to participate in this camps & the respond is highly encouraging. Some eminent speakers were also invited to highlight the role for youth for nation building & national integration. Functionaries of Panihati Chhatrashakti has also attended other so many programs organized by different organizations to encourage & help them. We have organized three camps during last five years on National Youth Day.
